Since 1995 till 2018 held different leading positions in Qatar Energy
Since 2006 till 2017 – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Golden Pass LNG Ltd.
Since 2010 till 2016 – Member of the Board of Directors of Ras Laffan Liquefield Gas Company Ltd. (RASGAS)
Since 2011 till 2016 – Member of the Board of Directors of Qatar International Petroleum Marketing Co. Ltd.
Since 2014 till 2017 – Member of the Board of Directors of Nebras Power
He was elected to the Board of Directors of Rosneft in June 2022
