Retail network

As of the end of 2018, the Company's retail business covered 66 regions of Russia. Rosneft is the largest retail network of filling stations in the Russian Federation with the largest geographical coverage and holds one of the leading positions in most regions of its presence. In addition, the Company has a retail network in Abkhazia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan. The Rosneft gas station brand is one of the leaders in Russia in terms of fuel quality recognition and perception. 

As of 31 December 2018, the Company's network of operating filling stations included 2,963 stations, including 66 stations in the Republic of Belarus, Abkhazia and Kyrgyzstan. Own and leased gas stations had 1,933 shops and 1,138 cafés.  

As of December 31 2018, the Company's marketing subsidiaries had 138 operating oil depots with a total capacity of 2.1 million cubic meters, and the Company is constantly working to optimize and improve the efficiency of its oil and gas business. 

The Company’s gasoline business includes more than 1,000 gasoline trucks. The Company takes measures to reduce operating costs of petroleum product delivery by tankers, including by optimizing logistics. 

The main areas of development of the retail business in 2018 were improving the efficiency of both profitable and expendable methods, including, on the one hand, the development of related business and small-scale wholesale sales, and on the other hand, the optimization of operating costs and expenses.  

The Company sells gasoline, diesel fuel, packaged oils and liquefied gases, as well as its own branded fuel line.
